IGUU 2916 is used by various EMI receiver manufacturers and measurement organizations, and is the most widely used calibration pulse source in the world.

      When calibrating an electromagnetic interference measurement receiver, especially when calibrating the impulse response characteristics of the receiver according to the CISPR-16 standard, a pulse signal generator must be used. IGUU 2916 is used by various EMI receiver manufacturers and measurement organizations, and is the most widely used calibration pulse source in the world.

       IGUU 2916 consists of three signal sources: a main pulse generator, an auxiliary pulse generator and a sine wave generator. Since the calibration pulse generator itself has a sinusoidal signal generator, there is no need to connect an external signal source when calibrating the pulse response characteristics of the EMI receiver. Through the dedicated interface, test software and coaxial switch, the impulse response characteristic calibration of the electromagnetic interference receiver can be automatically completed. The control software is based on WINDOWS operating system, with friendly interface and easy operation.

       The optional coaxial switch unit KU 9616, which can be controlled by IGUU 2916, connects one of the four outputs of IGUU 2916 to the equipment under test (EUT). There is no need to switch the coaxial connector during the test, which is convenient and time-saving.

       Through the GPIB interface, the computer can fully control all the functions of IGUU 2916. If KU 9616 is selected, fully automatic testing can be realized.

Typical value: ±0 to -0.5dB at the high end frequency of band A/B

Band C: Typical value: ±0.5dB (30MHz-100MHz) (100MHz is the reference frequency for level calibration)

The level is between 200MHz and 800MHz, with the frequency increasing from +0.5dB to +1dB, and when the frequency is 800MHz-1000MHz, it decreases to ±0 to -1dB.

Level accuracy:

Band A/B: ±0.5 dB at 50 kHz, 1 MHz

Band C/D: ±0.8 dB at 100 MHz
