FESP 5133 is mainly used in the anti-interference test of magnetic field, and it complies with EN 55103 and MIL-STD-461 E, VG 95377 part 13. According to the characteristics of the current source, a magnetic field of up to 1000 A/m can be generated in a short time. The generated magnetic field is proportional to the coil current. A distance ring allows the precise distance between the coil and the EUT surface to be 50 mm and 100 mm.

Main features :

       In some cases (requirements for medium field strength) a known series resistance can be used to measure the voltage across this resistance. The voltage reading that can be easily obtained on the resistance corresponds to the generated magnetic field proportionally. Larger series resistance has greater frequency dependence than inductance (but the efficiency of field strength is reduced).

       FESP 5133 can also be used to measure existing magnetic fields. The open-circuit output voltage is directly proportional to the magnetic field strength (the frequency is constant), or directly proportional to the frequency (the magnetic field strength is constant). The output voltage of FESP 5133 should use high impedance measuring equipment. If 50Ω measuring equipment is used, the source impedance of FESP 5133 must be considered for frequencies higher than 10 kHz (207 Ω at 100 kHz, 21 Ω at 10 kHz).
