   Broadband amplifiers with low noise and low power consumption are used to improve the sensitivity of field strength testing and general attenuation testing, up to 18GHz.

       Due to the built-in rechargeable battery, it can run without power supply within about 8 hours.

       The input and output ports of the broadband amplifier are sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Therefore, precautions must be taken before touching the amplifier. (Coaxial cable and human body discharge).

       The amplifier input has an SMA female connector. Provide a 0.5 meter long coaxial microwave cable to connect the antenna to the amplifier. The cable is equipped with SMA and N male connectors.

       Usually the amplifier should be installed very close to the antenna. The amplifier housing is equipped with rubber pads for placing on a horizontal surface. In addition, there is a 22 mm hole in the housing to accommodate the mounting tube of the Schwarzbeck antenna. The antenna installation tube is usually placed horizontally, and the N female end output of the amplifier faces the ground. This avoids undesirable bending of the coaxial cable.

       A typical installation example, with the AA9202 log periodic antenna ESLP 9145 and antenna mast AM9144 together.
