Radio frequency electromagnetic fields will reduce the performance of electronic devices by generating common mode currents on the cables. This effect can be simulated by injecting common mode currents into the cables of the equipment under test for radio frequency immunity testing. The standard IEC 61000-4-6 ed.4 defines the test method for the immunity of the electronic equipment under test conducted in the 150kHz-230MHz frequency band. The electromagnetic clamp is a high-efficiency broadband fixed-aperture clamp injection device, which is used to test the immunity of electronic equipment when direct capacitive coupling technology is not feasible or inappropriate.
