main feature:
BBA 9106-bis cone vibrator mounted VHBA 9123 Balun on, to form a complete biconical antenna. Generally used for EMI testing of automotive electronics, military standards, etc. , and for NSA testing in accordance with ANSI C63.4.
The balun VHBA 9123 with low-loss transmission linear transformer is mainly designed for double cone components, such as BBA 9106 or BBAL 9136. It can also be used with dipole or foldable biconical elements, such as FBAB 9177 or FBAL 9178.
VHBA 9123 4:1balun provides an optimized solution for immunity testing and shielding effectiveness measurement. Especially at low frequencies, the power requirement is greatly reduced due to the almost lossless 4:1 balun.
Biconical antennas usually do not match at low frequencies and show negative gain. The globally popular dipole VHA 9103 and BBA 9106 biconical antennas provide an antenna coefficient of 19dB/m at 30MHz. The same double cone element is added to the 200:50Ω VHBA series Balun, the gain will be 6dB better, and it shows a "more sensitive" antenna coefficient of less than 13dB/m.
Typical application :
1) Immunity test up to 100W.
2) Shielding effectiveness measurement.
