The SW9605 current clamp is used to measure the radio frequency current of a wire or harness with a maximum diameter of 23mm. The conversion ratio is 1:1 in the typical frequency range, so the receiver's dBuV reading directly corresponds to the current dBuA reading. Correspondingly, in a 50 ohm system, the transmission impedance is 1 ohm or the insertion loss is 34 dB.
This clamp can also be used at frequencies below 150kHz. In this case, the conversion factor in the figure must be considered.
This current clamp can be used up to 80MHz, but over 30MHz, the measurement uncertainty increases slightly.
