Used to measure the asymmetric interference voltage on the cable, without interruption and unlimited operation of the device under test.
main feature:
The probe is equipped with a high-efficiency metal shielding layer to suppress external interference. The voltage probe is battery-driven and the capacity lasts for more than 40 hours. The built-in transimpedance amplifier with extremely low noise can handle CISPR 16 standard pulse without distortion.
For an 8 mm EUT wire diameter, the nominal sensor's flat frequency response of 34 dB allows accurate measurements using only a small number of sensor values.
Application description :
Capacitive voltage probes work with EMI receivers to measure asymmetric voltages. The typical usage method is described in CISPR22/EN55022 C1.3. When measuring a cable with a diameter of 8mm, the 34dB transmission impedance value must be compensated to the receiver's reading.
Usually the frequency range is 150kHz to 30MHz, and a quasi-peak or average peak detector with a bandwidth of 9kHz is required to measure. The capacitive clamp can be opened and put in the cable to be measured. It is recommended to place the cable in the center as much as possible. The M-shaped plastic part at both ends of the clamp can be used to help positioning.
This probe is powered by battery. When the green LED indicator light is on, it means normal operation, and when the red light is on, it means power is insufficient.
There is an optional CAL 9222 B calibration adapter available.
